The “Downtowns”
To accommodate our out-of-town friends and family, we’ve secured courtesy room blocks at three hotels in Austin; two downtown and the other at The Domain, also known as the “Downtown of North Austin”. 😉 We’ve reserved a block of rooms at each of these hotels at a guaranteed discounted rate for the weekend of June 3, 2023. To get the discounted rate, you must book your stay via the “Book“ buttons on this page by the cutoff date (date varies by property). Whether you are driving in or flying in or whether price or location are most important to you, one of these hotels should meet your needs. If they don’t, please feel free to book accommodations wherever suits you best. We’ve included details and booking information for each property below.
The Westin at The Domain
Recommended for “The Roadtripper”
If you’re driving in, we recommend staying at The Westin at The Domain. Parking is free and it’s an easy 15 to 20-minute drive to the boat dock; plus, there’s plenty of shops, restaurants and things to do that are all within walking distance of the hotel.

The Westin Austin Downtown
Recommended for “The Frequent Flyer”
If you’re flying in, we recommend staying downtown at The Westin. This hotel is the closest location to both the airport and the boat dock; plus, it has some cool amenities! It’s also just a short walk away from Lady Bird Lake and “The Bat Bridge”.

Things to do: Rooftop pool, y’all! 🤘 Lady Bird Lake activities (paddle boarding, kayaking, canoes, hike + bike trail), the famous Congress Bridge Bats will be flying in June, Dirty 6th, West Sixth, Auditorium Shores, the Texas State Capitol, Rainey Street and SoCo is a short Lyft or scooter ride down the road too.

Hyatt Place Austin Downtown
Recommended for “The FOMO-er”
You want to stay downtown, but you don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for a room. At this hotel, you’ll just pay an arm; you’ll still be downtown after all. 😜 This hotel is a little closer to Lady Bird Lake, is only 2 blocks from The Westin and is still in the heart of downtown within walking distance to bars, restaurants and 6th street.
